Growing up in an entrepreneurial environment, Craige worked in his father’s business from the time he was 5 years old through college. Craige attended the University of Wisconsin where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering.
Before attending law school, Craige had significant technical experiences in analog design, power electronics, magnetics, and product development. He was a Design Engineer in the Product Development Group for Plexus Technology Group where he specialized in analog circuits, power supplies, electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and PCB design. He was also a Research Assistant at the Wisconsin Electric Machines and Power Electronics Consortium (WEMPEC). Prior to establishing his current patent law practice, Craige’s legal experience involved a uniquely balanced mix of all phases of the patent life cycle. He practiced in the Twin Cities office of Fish & Richardson P.C. During those years, Fish & Richardson routinely ranked at or near the top of all patent firms in both patent litigation and patent prosecution.
All of these experiences have given Craige a passion for creating high business value for small, medium, and large clients by providing comprehensive patent services. He has earned an exceptional reputation within the industry.
On Patent Offense, Craige is known among colleagues for his Litigation Quality Patent processes as the “Examiner Whisperer.”
On Patent Defense, he is known for his work in freedom to operate, patent litigation and patent re-examination as the “Patent Killer.”
