Vincent Musgrove, JD

Vincent Musgrove is a licensed patent attorney at Thompson Patent Law with a technical background in mathematics, physics, and economics. Previously he worked as a data analyst for a variety of start-up technology companies in the Austin, Texas area.
Vincent completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Texas at Austin with a double major in mathematics and economics. After graduation, he got his big start working as a technical online marketing analyst at Indeed in Austin, Texas. During his time at Indeed, Vincent aided the company with analyzing and making sense of their massive amounts of data, building tools and software to increase efficiency and productivity, and managing and optimizing the company’s online marketing strategy.
After leaving Indeed to pursue a career in intellectual property law, Vincent worked as a legal assistant at his father’s law practice before attending St. Mary’s University School of Law in San Antonio, Texas. During law school, Vincent clerked at an IP law firm, providing litigation support and preparing CLE materials for the State Bar of Texas 11th Annual Advanced Patent Litigation Course.
After graduating from law school and passing the Texas Bar Exam, Vincent joined up with Thompson Patent Law. Vincent enjoys helping innovative clients and businesses of all sizes with their intellectual property needs. He possesses an understanding of the technical and legal aspects of patent law, as well as the business/commercial side of giving the right advice and services customized to the needs and budget of each client.
